Why You Need Some Jogha in Your Workout Wardrobe

Jogha

If there’s one thing I love more than makeup shopping and food shopping (yes, food shopping – I just love filling up my trolley with 3 for 2’s and Mark asking why I picked up three lots of tomato sauce), then it’s buying new clothing to workout in. I know this may be slightly crazy logic for some to part with cash on items that you ultimately are going to sweat your guts out in, but if there’s one thing I’ve learnt during getting into working out it’s that if you feel nice and comfortable in your kit then you just feel more motivated and prepared for the sweat session ahead. I’ve also found that certain pieces of kit have helped improve my performance – I doubt I’ll run in non-compression fit leggings again, for example. Ok that was two things, but you get the gist.

Workout clothing obsession confessed, when I heard that the Co-Founder of #FitGirlCode – one of my favourite fitness sites, that I check daily – Aranka, had launched her own sportswear line it was approximately three seconds before I had visited the site, followed it on Twitter, Instagram, the lot. It’s called Jogha and their tagline is ‘Started as an idea, evolved as a garment to help you discover badass within‘. I love it. I love the site. I love the garments and I must admit I’m a little in love with Aranka. Gotta admire a seriously ambitious girl boss.

So onto the pieces. There’s an edited amount of cuts and styles from legging to sports bras and everything in between, and each one comes in a variety of fabrics that are available across the range so you can mix or match. Each have been designed to be comfortable, practical and flattering and I can report back that there’s no weird rubbing in places, seams that scratch or waistbands that look too tight – it’s good looking stuff that performs well under seriously sweaty situations. You know I love a bit of matching so personally I like the Ikat Gym Bra with the Ikat Long Tights and the Solid Black Muscle Tee which makes for a nice HIIT, Yoga, Pilates, whatever, ensemble.

If you fancy some Jogha in your workout wardrobe then I’ve managed to wangle a 20% code for you all – VIVIANNADOESMAKEUP – that will expire at midnight on the 31st January 2015 – thanks Aranka! See, I told you she was a babe.
