Yep, prepare yourselves because I’m going to ramble on about the benefits of meal prepping… again. I was planning on filming what made it into my belly yesterday, but seeing as it was going to be a bit of a tight turnaround (don’t worry, it’s coming soon – it’s only fair that I show that my diet consists of pancakes, more pancakes and Percy Pigs at the weekend), I thought I’d film a cook-free Friday instead, where everything was already baked and ready to eat or prepped and ready to be heated. I barely had to lift a finger in the kitchen and all I had to do was wash-up a plate or two at the end of the day. DREAMY.

In the end Friday was my usual mix of healthy-ish food with a double dose of cookies thrown in there. My breakfast was an oldie, but a goodie with a twist. Lunch consisted of a Greek-style plate with dips, feta and pittas, which somehow always manages to make me feel summery. There’s a sweet treat thrown in pre-workout, which is from practically the only recipe book I cook from these days, The Lean Machine’s ‘Eat Well, Move Better and Feel Awesome’. I skipped my post-workout protein hit because I was still stuffed with cookies. Nice. Then for dinner I used a recipe from Madeleine Shaw’s ‘Ready, Steady, Glow’ which I already had in the fridge and just heated up with some quickie carbs (my secret weapon). Oh and don’t forget dessert. I’ve always got space for dessert. Blood orange chocolate – it’s special.

As always the recipes are written below the video in the description box if they come from yours truly, or are linked up if they originate from blogs or books. You ready for a day of tasty food where you don’t even have to go near a chopping board? ‘Ave a watch.
