We Made Jumpers! Wanna See?

Lily and I have been sitting on this project for yonks. The idea actually spans back a whole year when we became Digital Ambassadors for Look Good Feel Better and were dreaming up money-raising ideas. We did the #SWALK back in June, our Liberty events in October and today marks the launch of something very exciting. YES – WE MADE JUMPERS! Wanna see? 

You know us. We love nothing more than a jumper and jean combo, so these are right up our street and they’re basically all we’ve been wearing (secretly!) since we got the final designs back. Of course being the sweater connoisseurs that we are, the process has taken a while, whilst we debated hem lengths, necklines and linings. We wanted to make sure that these were just right and after more prototypes than you can shake a stick at, we’re dead chuffed with the end result and they are now available to pre-order at our shop.

There are two designs. The ‘Loungewear For Life‘ number, which is basically our life motto. I love to wear this one when I’m having a proper Netflix session; the combination of the two makes me feel like I’m living the ultimate lounging dream. The other is ‘#NOMAKEUPDAY‘ which if I’m honest is me for five days out of the week. I call this my ‘weekend brunch top‘, because let me tell you – the best way to chomp down on brunch is barefaced and seriously channeling those Sunday vibes.

They’re thick enough to be classed as ‘cosy winter‘ level, with a soft, almost fleece-like lining that will make you ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’ when you touch it. The hem hits mid-butt length and so they’re long enough to not ride up and be worn with leggings without too much on show if you fancy. The arms feel nice and long too (although I do like a bit of an elbow scrunch myself) and the neckline is cut wide to not feel too constricting and to look extra flattering. It’s also worth noting that these do come up quite small; Lily and I are both wearing the mediums here – which I’d say is a good fit for a UK size 10-12.

Secondly – we hear you on the sizing feedback. We’re pestering the jumper peeps and are hoping to have an update in the morning. Crossing our fingers for a better range! Will keep you all updated.
