I have been tweeting all day about how I have spent my Sunday re-organising and having a bit of a clearout and I have to say I have bloody loved it. As nerdy as it may sound, I love having a good rummage around; finding old favourites, passing on things I no longer want, making everything looks neat and pretty and generally getting rid of any clutter. My room is definitely on the small size, so I like to make sure that I use or wear everything that I own – if I haven’t used it in the past 6 months or so it gets given to my sister or a lucky friend – yes my housemates at Uni always used to love it when I had an organising sesh 😉 Now my room is more or less so done with being decorated (bar a few soft furnishings here and there), I have my new vanity so the majority of my day was spent sorting through my makeup and skincare….
Organisation heaven baby 😉 I used the cardboard drawers from my old WHSmith drawer storage box to divvy things up, so everything is easy to find and finally I can see all my makeup is front of me and ponder important questions like ‘what blush/lipstick combo shall I go for today’ – yes really! There will definitely be a ‘Makeup Collection/Storage’ video coming up soon and perhaps even a blog sale of bits that I no longer use, who knows. Anybody else love organising as much as I do? Come on I know there must be some of you! Hope you have all had a lovely weekend!
