Product Pick of the Week: NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella – does this really come as a surprise? Over recent weeks I’ve found this has become my go-to lip colour. With a formula that’s so hardy you don’t have to worry about half of it smearing all over your chops (deeming it daytime appropriate) I colour my lips in with it and be done. Easy peasy. The colours a stunner too – a burgundy red that adds a bit of colour to my monochrome ensembles.

Blog Post of the Week: A how-to grey ombré nail tutorial from those cool cats at Into The Gloss. I’m struggling to get myself out of the CHANEL Le Vernis in Rouge Noir rut at the moment, but a black pinkie graduating into a dove-grey on the other hand? Yes, that I could get in to.

Must-Watch of the Week: I’ve been having a trawl through the Lisa Eldridge video archives and I just keep on coming back to her ‘Nicole Richie Cover Look’ film. A winged-out, pink lidded look; it’s completely out of my comfort zone but the results are just stunning and I’ve filed it as a possible makeup recipe to whip out at New Years.
