Product Pick of the Week: Maybelline Forever Strong Nail Polish in Mint For Life – may be a bit of a premature product push for this category seeing as it was only welcomed into my stash yesterday on a Superdrug excursion. But after a rushed paint job last night it applied well, was opaque in two coats and satisfied my current pastel passion. I’ll keep you posted on how it holds up. 

Blog Post of the Week: Oh yes, it’s another skincare one. Into The Gloss’ ‘How To Clean Your Face’ with NYC Facialist Isabelle Bellis is deliciously simple, informative and somewhat hypnotising. I’ve added thermal water, square-shaped cotton pads (completely essential) and swimming motions to my reminder list. 

Must-Watch of the Week: Jamie Oliver being transformed into Madonna by the Pixiwoo sisters is a video I never thought I’d see. But now I’m have, I’ve realised there was a chef-turned-80’s-icon hole in my heart and I’m happy I’ve witnessed it.

Added to the Wishlist: A first for this category; but this week a book is topping my ‘to buy’ charts – yep that exists – Luca Turin, Perfume: The A-Z Guide which was recommended to me on multiple accounts after my post on my current beauty-centric read earlier this week. It’s up there along with a few bits from Omorovicza, but I’ll save the skincare focused thigh-rubbing for next week.
