It’s Friday, it’s almost the weekend and it’s been a lengthy amount of time since your past pamper – yep, I’ve just described myself there. I’m in need of a bit of beauty TLC, to get that glow back, you know? And thankfully I have just the thing. If you’ve been missing out on my videos for the Beauty Recommended YouTube Channel then that’s something you need to rectify now and as this week’s clip focuses on How To Get Glossy Hairit’s going to be a case of practising what I preach with this one and following my own advice. So with my tresses soon-to-be sorted, I thought I share my tips for glossy skin too with help from the realms of skincare and makeup, because you know it’s all about that glow…

The MaskPeter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask. It’s a tad time consuming, but a mask on the morning of or the evening before I want things to look glowy is well worth the few extra minutes in the bathroom. This one in particular just leaves things looking radiant, along with all adjectives related to ‘luminous’.

The OilMV Skincare Rose Plus Booster. If you couldn’t already tell from my 156th mention of this oil, I really love this stuff. It’s light enough to use AM and PM and my skin always slurps it up like it was a long overdue drink. I’ve even got Mark into it, but more on that another day.

The MoisturiserOlay Regenerist Luminous. Finding a moisturiser that delivers a glossiness to the skin without being heavy is tough to find, but this one does exactly that. My skin feels refreshed after massaging it in and the dewy finish provides a great base for whatever I plan on using next.

The BaseLaura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturiser in Nude. When I feel like I need to up the sheen stakes, a tinted moisturiser always seems to get the job done. This one adds a luminosity to the complexion without looking greasy and has good longevity. I slap it on with my fingers to really work it into my chops.

The BlushMax Factor Creme Puff Blusher in Lavish Mauve. A glow on the cheeks is always welcomed and this blush brings just that, with a hint of colour as well. The plum tones compliment whatever makeup look you’re donning and add a natural flush to your apples. Plus, with a lacing of shimmer in each compact there’s no need to reach for highlight too.

The TintMax Factor Excess Shimmer Eyeshadow in Copper. A shimmery long-lasting cream textured formula that has a hint of antique gold to it. The final step is to pop this on the lids – no brush required, sweeeeet – and if you use a light hand with it, it can be sheered out to be swept over the cheeks as a highlighter. A multi-taking pot of sun-kissed glimmer.

Got your gloss and glow back? Fab. Weekend – let’s do this.
