The Travel Friendly Face Palette

Ah, you know I love a good palette. You just have to look at last week’s video to see that. When it comes to how many eyeshadow ones I own, I’ve quite worryingly lost count; but face palettes? Well I can’t really think of any that I own. So when I spotted the Bobbi Brown Face Palette online, I just had to lob it in my basket. Their Concealer, Corrector, Foundation Stick and Powder all in one handy compact and laid out in your chosen shades – it took me all of about two seconds to decide that it had to be mine.

This thing just screams travel-friendly, ‘keep me in your handbag please‘. Everything you need to even out a complexion first thing in the morning or patch-up during the day is housed in here and can be dabbed on with a finger or a makeup brush/sponge/whatever you fancy. I’ve used the Corrector and Concealer before, so I knew what I was in for there – creamy, high coverage goodness – but I’ve quickly become rather fond of the two formulas in there that I hadn’t tried. The stripe of their Foundation Stick is one of those buildable textures that can be worked-up or sheered out depending on what you fancy and the Powder in Pale Yellow dims down my redness and holds things in place without looking too matte.

I’ve been matched up on counter before as Sand so knew that I was in for a good match buying the corresponding set and yes everything matches up with my current complexion. There’s even a mirror inside too, so- say hello to my new handbag hero saving me from late nights, ruddy boiling hot tube-induced cheeks and a sweaty, not sheeny shine, on the go.
