The Three Minute Face Mask

IMG_0812Face masks is one of the few skincare categories left that I still like to dabble in. I feel like I’ve got most of my complexion support team in place, but I’m always game for trying out a new mask. Right now, my pores are being a little troublesome. I’ve recently switched up some medication and it’s causing some pimple and textural issues, especially round my chin. This means that when it comes to my skincare I’m having to adapt it slightly and go down the ‘detox‘ route around the jawline. Right now, the Estée Lauder NightWear Plus 3 Minute Detox Mask is giving the bottom third of my face a bit of TLC.

This skincare newbie is a light cream that once applied turns into a clay mask; rinse it off after three minutes and my skin just feels refreshed – a little less angry looking and a little smoother in texture. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or dry after rinsing and works well after cleansing as a bit of extra cleaning step. It says to use it twice a week, but I’ve been throwing it on almost daily just around my chin and have nothing but good things to report. So if your skin isn’t best pleased right now and you fancy something speedy to put it in its place, then this might be something to look into. Plus, using it on your chin means you can wander in on your boyfriend every night and go ‘Hey look – I have a beard like you!‘. It’s the little things, eh?
