Shower gel for me is a bit of a ‘black vest top‘ purchase. Necessary and practical, but oh-so boring. More often than not I find myself lathering up with Mark’s Dove for Men offering and then ignoring the citrusy, woody scent that follows me around for the rest of the day. It doesn’t really bother me. But the other week I was in the supermarket and feeling spendy (it’s my new favourite place to get spendy these days as I just haven’t found the time to pop into town recently – Space NK who?) and stumbled across the KORRES shelf. I haven’t given much from the line a go, but when I saw the tag ‘Santorini Vine’ across some of the bottles I was in. It sounded summery and fruity and because it’s basically my dream to visit Santorini one day I threw the Shower Gel into my basket and let me tell you – it was a seriously good move…
If you like fruity, fresh scents – then this range will be your new best friend. My sister described it as I was shoving the bottle in her face, as ‘Fruit Pastel Ice Lollies‘ and I have to agree that she hit the nail on the head there. Perhaps I should ask her to comment on all scent descriptions? Almost edible fragrance aside, the formula is nice too. Thick and lathery and with a non-drying texture, it’s not the cheapest shower condiment, but it’s one that I’ll happily repurchase just for the scent alone.
