Spots are a pain in the ass. But prepare to be excited ladies, as I have found an aaaaaaamazing product. Now you know with these things it isn’t always a cure everyone miracle, but for me this worked a treat, so I am here to sing it’s praises. In the past whenever a pimple reared it’s ugly head I reached for Lush’s Grease Lightning, it worked well – reduced the redness, was gentle on my skin and consistently using this every day would make a spot go away in around 2 days. However after a rather heavy facial at an RMK counter my skin went into a slight spasm and gave me one of those awful little whiteheads right in the crease of the nose – god those ones irritate me! So I decided to try out a new little baby, from one of my favourite skincare brands, Origins…
Origins Super Spot Remover
I exfoliated off the top of the whitehead with the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish (gross I know), and then added a dab of this to the affected area. The next morning the spot has gone, there was still a tiny bit of redness there but nothing that couldn’t be covered with a bit of my trusty Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer. Less than 8 hours and had disappeared! How fantastic is that? The Origins Super Spot Remover definitely contains a more potent mix of ingredients than Lush’s spot treatment offering which favours more natural extracts from Rosemary, Aloe Vera and Lavender. Origins have packed this with Salicylic Acid, Caffeine and Red Algae and I can tell you – it don’t half sting when you apply it! But hey, it’s definitely worth it. In terms of cost, the Lush definitely wins at £5.65 for 45g, whereas the Origins is £12 for just 10ml – however with both of these you need the tiniest amount each time, so they will both last you an age. I am so impressed with this, and you have to see it in the flesh as it is seriously the cutest little bottle ever + it’s uber travel friendly! What do you ladies you to remove those pesky spots? Given this a go?
Much Love,
