Nail polish? Check. Double duty base and top coat? Check. Freebie with a magazine? Check. When I spotted this gem in the newsagents I was in a desperate place. Taking a few days away in the middle of nowhere without a single polish from my stash in my possession. Bare nailed I spotted Harper’s Bazaar sporting a hefty £11 RRP of nail polish goodness taped to the front, Leighton Denny’s Colour and Go, I purchased, perused and lacquered up.
There’s a nice little colour selection but I plumped for I Love Juicy to fit in with my current shade fling, surprise surprise and true to the bottle it layers on a punch of pinky coral to the nails in two coats. The One for All top/base coat duo isn’t rushing to the top of my nail charts, but it does the job and the fact that all bundled up it serves as a three-in-one – it’s just begging to be thrown into the suitcase next time I head away from home.
The mags seem to pouring with the goodies at the moment: Company have a free makeup bag slapped to the front, Tatler are doing sunglasses, ELLE has Rodial Brazilian Tan (picked one of those up, I’ll report back after tanning tests are carried out). Heading to the newsagents to stock up on all your summer essentials, who would have thought it?Â
