The best thing about Boxing Day aside from the abundance of leftovers and the fact that it’s completely acceptable to lounge in your comfies all day and nurse yesterday’s food baby? The sales. More precisely – the online sales. No elbow sharpening and sardine-like shop situations, just an easy purchase at the click of a button that you can do from your sofa. Easy peasy. This year as always, the beauty sales are bringing it. Christmas sets reduced a plenty and value kits that contain your everyday favourites for a fraction of the price; there’s something for everyone, so here are the highlights…
MAKEUP:
Urban Decay 24/7 Travel Size Eye Pencil Set in Cosmic – WAS £25, NOW £17.50 – from FeelUnique. These are some of my favourite eye pencil formulas and I love the earthy tones that this set has going on.
Jouer Cosmetics Bare Beauty Collection – WAS £48, NOW 28.80 – from Cult Beauty. Isn’t this a fab little set? It features everything from cheek, to eyes and even lip colour.
Urban Decay Naked Palette – WAS £38, NOW £34.20 – from FeelUnique. Now this one isn’t a massive saving, but it’s a chance to get a bit of dollar off what I believe is one of the greatest neutral offerings out there.
Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue – WAS £26, NOW £20.80 – from FeelUnique. I love this tinted moisturiser formula that’s dewy on the outside and hydrating on the inside.
Estée Lauder Pure Colour Envy Sculpting Eyeshadow – WAS £40, NOW £28 – from FeelUnique. A luxury eyeshadow palette, with a pretty reasonable price tag. I’d point you in the direction of the Rebel Metal 5-piece..
HAIR, SKIN & BODY:
Origins Mask Marvels Skincare Set – WAS £30, NOW, £20.10 – from John Lewis. Travel-size versions of the all the best masks from the Origins range. A nice little post-Xmas present for yourself and your complexion.
St Tropez Express Bronzing Mousse – WAS £33, NOW £23 – from ASOS. My favourite faux tanning product because it does the job in a couple of hours, minimising that whole ‘sticky, can’t sit down/put on clothes/do anything’ feeling.
OSKIA Christmas Cracker – WAS £18, NOW £10.80 – from Cult Beauty. Your last chance to grab a miniature travel-friendly size of the OSKIA Renaissance Cleansing Gel. RUN!
Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask – WAS £32.95, NOW £26.36 – from Beauty Bay. Time to pick up a back-up? I think so.
Origins Ginger Pleasures – WAS £45, NOW £30.15 – from House of Fraser. For me this is the epitome of Christmas-time pampering. Sweet, zingy and über luxe feeling.
TOOLS & WELLNESS:
Babyliss Boutique Salon-Pro Hairdryer – WAS £79.95, NOW £59.95 – from John Lewis. The best hairdryer, hands down. This one blitzes my locks bone-dry in a matter of minutes.
Rae Morris Eye Brush Set – WAS £124.25, NOW £74.55 – from Beauty Bay. Doesn’t this look dreamy? I’ve been eying up some new eye brushes and I think this is just what I’m looking for, *sneakily adds to basket*…
Oral B Pro 5000 Toothbrush – WAS £170, NOW £85 – from Selfridges. This is the toothbrush that both Mark and I use and I can’t sing its praises high enough. Pricey, but your teeth feel brand new afterwards.
Diptyque Mini Candle Gift Set – WAS £38, NOW £19 – from Space NK. It’s worth picking up this little two-for-one, just to have a sniff of Baies alone.
NAILS:
Smith & Cult Nail Polish Trio – WAS £47, NOW £23.50 – from Space NK. Three Smith & Cult polishes for just over the price of one? I’m in.
