I can’t say I’m a huge sales lover. I have been known to sharpen my elbows and fight to the frontline with the best of them in previous years but more often than not I’d end up with less than necessary buys: a lurid shade of eyeshadow that I’d never use, purchased in the haze of 75% discount and a piece of clothing that was either too short, tight or damn right horrendous for me to ever wear again. So I now treat it as more of a spectator sport and tend to stick to browsing online from the comfort of my sofa and the warmth of a slanket with a slightly more focused mind. While everyone in the house was deep in slumber last night I stumbled across some pretty darn good deals on the Space NK sale, an order was made (oh gawd), and the idea for this post was birthed. Instead of keeping my bargain basement deals to my own checkout basket in the spirit of Christmas cheer I thought I’d share, so here are my top picks that I discovered in my bleary eyed browsing sesh…
Space NK is rather rocking – with treats from Laura Mercier, Diptyque and Kevyn Aucoin all making the cut. My favourites are the Laura Mercier Souffle Body Creme Sampler, was £41.50 now £21, link here and the This Works Deep Sleep Night Owl Set, was £65 now £32.50, link here. Another good’un is the ASOS sale and although I already own the two best deals I found they are both things I adore – GHD Straighteners IV Styler, was £99 now £69, link here, these are the only hair tool I really use and then the much hyped and much loved Essie’s Winter 2012 Mini Set, was £16.95 now £12.50, link here. Two big possibility purchases come from FeelUnique, Aromatherapy Associates Essential Travel Oils, was £30 now £24, link here and Philip Kingsley’s Elasticizer, was £26.25 now £19.68, link here. I finished off my search with two finds from LookFantastic. A Miller Harris candle has been on my wishlist for a while and the Miller Harris L’air de Rein one, was £39 now £27, link here and after trying some bits from the Joico range and giving them a thumbs up I’m tempted to pick up the Joico K-Pak Xmas Pack, was £31 now £19.93, link here.
Some of these bits and bobs are already winging their way into the post to me as we speak (a haul video will be a dunzo as soon as they arrive), others I threw in as VDM pre-approved bargains; so sit back, relax, get comfortable (slanket: optional) and get clicking. Simples.
