Now that my ‘Autumn Style Staples’ are done and dusted, I’m turning my attention back to beauty. Time to snap shut my bronzed palettes, retire my glow givers for the season and reach again for the more burnished tones in my stash. Of course autumn makeup on my terms is still a neutral affair; but I’m tweaking it a little. Adding a bit of copper to my usual brown eyeshadows, a light wash of plum to my peachy lips and going for something a little more taupe toned to my apples. Just slight adjustments to my colour choices to bring me in line with the crisp, but not too cold (yet) outdoors – nothing to be scared of. Compared to my other seasonal makeup collations I’ve mixed this one up, adding a few products from outside the makeup category that may come in rather handy over the next few months. So welcome to the complete autumn beauty edit. VDM stylée.
A bit like The Row boots, but a faux fur lining?! Perfect for this time of year.
