Firstly I hope everyone that celebrates it had a lovely Christmas Day yesterday and are enjoying the festive season 🙂 I certainly did – I was extremely lucky and got some amazing pressies from my fam which I am sure will pop up on here soon! It’s become a slight tradition that me and my sister go into town on Boxing Day morning to have a quick raid of the sales. I am not proud of it, having worked in retail for around 3 years I know how irritating Boxing Day shoppers can be! But instead of trying to pick up any cheap tat we can get our hands on, or buying things because they are cheap – we always tend to come out with things that we had our eyes on before the sales started and they manage to bag them for half the price! I will also admit that last night I may have made a few sneaky orders online 😉 Whoops! So here is my guide for those searching out a bargain..
For those searching out a ‘Beauty Bargain’ the FeelUnique website is the place to go. Most of the site has at least 10% off, and my favourite makeup brand of the minute – Jemma Kidd – has 20% off across the whole range. I would highly recommend stocking up on her ‘Light As Air Foundation’ and the ‘Dewy Glow All Over Radiance Cream’, they are both items that I now use on a daily basis. I may have placed an order for some Clarins and Elemis bits 😉 Delivery is free and I have never found it to take too long 🙂 If perfume is more your thing then popping into Boots or Debenhams is your best bet. Most of their perfume gift-sets are half-price, my sister grabbed the Marc Jacobs ‘Oh Lola’ gift-set for under £25 from Debenhams this morning! Bargain! Although their onlines sales are ok, there were much better deals in-store. For clothing, I actually found quite a few nice bits in River Island. Again, the in-store stuff is much better than what is left on their website. My sister went crazy in the shoe department and I picked up a black playsuit which is now the main contender for my NYE outfit. I’m sure I only managed to scratch the surface here; I’ve also seen some amazing deals from French Connection, All Saints and Warehouse if you have a bit more cash to splash. Warehouse has some very nice spangly party dresses if you are still in need of something stellar to wear on NYE. If you have found any other amazing deals then feel free to share them below 😀
