Mama – I love you. Mama – my frriiiieeend.

I feel like scouting for gifts for Mother’s Day is one of the more pleasant present buying experiences of the year. My Mum is a complete breeze to buy for. A scarf! A plant! A cookbook! Basically anything that I’d like for myself, she’d be pretty chuffed with too. She’d never been too into beauty – I had to march her to the shops to get her first ever foundation for my wedding day last year – but in recent times, she’s started sniffing around the world of candles, perfumes, fancy shower gels and bath salts; and has since amassed quite the stash hidden away from Dad, deep in the bathroom cupboards.
So that’s where L’Occitane comes in this year, catering for every single Mother’s Day gift giving need. Fancy buying your Mum a head-to-toe pamper pack? Sorted. What about a personally engraved bottle of perfume? Done! A complementary afternoon of treatments, paired with a plateful of macarons. IT’S HERE! In fact, it’s all happening down at the newly opened L’Occitane Regent Street Flagship. Come and have a look for yourself! In fact, Lily and I will be hosting our first event of year there and we’ll be on hand if you want to tick your Mother’s Day gift off your shopping list and serving nibbles, bubbles and a bit of beauty banter if you fancy it? Here’s what you need to know…

If you can’t make it down, then no worries – I’ve also narrowed the L’Occitane value-packed gift selection down to my three favourites that I’m pretty sure your Mum would LOVE. Firstly the Hand Cream Trio – which features three best-selling scents of the legendary hand cream formula that’s luxurious feeling but never greasy. I always have one in my handbag (and my Mum does too!). Then there’s the Terre de Lumière L’Eau Luxury Collection; which my Mum adores for the soft and subtle fragrance, plus you get everything in there to keep the scent with you from morning shower to bedtime. Finally, one of my personal favourites – the Almond Shower Oil. This might be the 867th time that I’ve mentioned it on the blog, but there just isn’t another shower oil out there quite like it. I have multiple back ups stocked in my cabinets and it’s definitely one your Mum is going to want to hide from your Dad. If you pop any of of these in your online basket, you can use the code ‘ANNA‘ to get free delivery on your purchase until the 9th March.
SHOP MY L’OCCITANE FAVOURITES
Another option could be to jolly into town and take you Mum for a grand ol’ pamper afternoon at the L’Occitane Regent Street Store. I mean, just look at these pictures! The store is HUGE, smells incredible and the complementary treatment menu unmatched. There’s a spot for mum and daughter hand and arm massages (enjoy a Pierre Hermé macaron from the on-site stall for the full experience) free of charge. I opted for a glass of champagne during my chill-inducing treatment and it felt like heaven. Plus you can pick between two complementary skincare treatments. Either the Luxury Skin Care Ritual, a 30 minute treatment carried out in a private booth, or the Express Skin Care Ritual for a speedy tailored regime. There’s also a counter for engraving and personalisation. I mean the Almond Shower Oil with your initials on!? SOLD. I’ve really never been to a beauty flagship like it, they really have nailed every single detail.
And finally, Lily and I are over the moon to announce that our L’Occitane Exclusive Beauty Bags are BACK, incase you need some more gift inspiration. Featuring miniatures of the Lavender Foaming Bath, Almond Shower Oil, Almond Hand Cream, Precious Cream, Relaxing Pillow Mist and mini makeup bag; they launch exclusively at L’Occitane today and will then be available to buy at all other stores across the U.K following the event for £25. One for your Mum… one for you – don’t worry, we won’t tell.
