October Favourites with Amelia Liana

Picking my favourite things that have floated my boat during October was easy peasy this month. In the end I decided to go for just four beauty items and one fashion find because I’ve halved the load and shared this month’s discoveries with Amelia. You know Amelia, right? She’s an über babe with a beautiful blog and stunningly shot videos on her YouTube channel who I’ve known for years. So we teamed up and did the two video thing – there’s one live now on her channel and one live now on mine – whilst also catching-up and speaking 2000 words a minute to each other.

An extremely fun morning was had and Amelia’s video set-up is the dream (note to self: remember to powder next time, so it doesn’t look like your face is about to melt away) – enjoy! The favourites however, although thin on the ground, are things that I have picked up practically on a daily basis for the past four weeks. The Glossier bits in particular are extremely well loved. The Stretch Concealer is now my go-to concealer, the Boy Brow is all I’ve been using in my brows and the Generation G Matte Lipstick in Cake is the only lip product that I toss in my handbag these days. There is another lipstick too that I’ve been enjoying from the new MAC Liptensity range. If you’re in the market for a nude then it’s definitely worth a swatch next time you pass a counter. There’s also a new cleanser favourite (I know – unheard of!) where I’m very late to the rave train party and an eyelash curler that beats my previous Shu Uemura love. I’ve also thrown in an extremely obvious most-worn fashion piece too which if you don’t guess then I’ll have to eat my hat or something else equally vile. Yes, it’s leopard print…
