My Dry, Dry Skin Saviour

IMG_0017

Hands up whose skin gets ridiculously dry during the winter months and starts to resemble the texture of a mock croc bag? Yep, me too. Face-wise I manage to stay on top of it through a complex mix of serums, creams and oils that I sleepily apply each AM and PM, but when it comes to body moisturising I struggle to be arsed enough to whip out my trusty Kiehl’s Creme de Corp Whipped Body Butter as I shiver and do naked star jumps in an attempt to keep warm (note to self: we really must buy some suitable blinds for the bathroom, no one needs to be subjected to that).

When it comes to dry, dry patches though I have a little trick up my sleeve – Pure Potions Skin Salvation Intensive Moisturising Ointment. This stuff is big hitter. Heavy and balm-like it warms up to create an oil that keeps the psoriasis I have on my ears and legs in check. It doesn’t wave them off completely, but it adds moisturise and softens up the area. It’s also suggested for those with eczema, dermatitis and other little skin emergencies and it’s got a clean ingredients list too. It’s a fab little all-rounder and a great one to have in your bathroom cupboard for when things start getting a bit mock croc bag-esque in the skin department.
