You know I’m a bit of a Lipstick Lady – my favourite part of my morning makeup routine is having a peek through my box and deciding which lipstick to wear that day. More often than not, the lipstick that I have been reaching for the most in recent weeks is my beloved MAC Shy Girl. A warm peachy nude, this steers away from my usual pink offerings such as Hue and Creme Cup and offers a more subtle lip….Apologies for the mashed up top, but at least you can see that I use it a lot! In fact it is twisted all the way up, that is all I have left! This is a top contender for the first ever MAC Lipstick repurchase 😉 The formula is a Creamsheen which of course you know by now is my favourite MAC finish, a very creamy, quite opaque colour that leaves a nice sheen on the lips without being too glossy. I find that this is the perfect ‘my lips, but nuder’ colour – a perfect mix of peach and nude, that easily finishes off any makeup look. It looks quite brown in the picture, but is much more peach in real life. Hopefully you can see that is a nice accompaniment to my everyday makeup look, and a lipstick that can be worn without the fuss of a mirror and constant re-application. I find it to last around 2 hours on my lips, but it wears so naturally that sometimes I don’t bother re-doing it for ages! So Shy Girl has officially been added to my ‘MAC Must-haves Lipstick List’ – which also includes Hue and Creme Cup if you were wondering 😉
Like a super fancy dressing gown that you can wear on Zoom calls.
