The Bioderma Créaline H20 Cleansing Solution is something I have been after for ages! It has quite a loyal following the the beauty world, and is said to be the makeup remover of choice for makeup artists in the industry. Bioderma are known for producing ‘micellar’ solutions, which are makeup removers that basically ‘eat-up’ the makeup instead of spreading it all around your face which some cleansers can do. Formulated to be as gentle as water, it’s fragrance free, suitable for use around the eyes and remove waterproof makeup. This stuff is basically the best of both works – gentle, yet effective. It’s super easy to use, just dampen a cotton pad with it and wipe over face to remove makeup, it doesn’t even need rinsing off, although I will follow it with my usual Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish. I will just use this in place of my baby wipes to remove the bulk of my makeup, but the whole ‘no-rising’ thing may come in very handy for when I’m feeling lazy (or perhaps a little tipsy)! If you haven’t heard of Bioderma before, they are a French pharmacy brand, really easy to get hold of across the channel, but unfortunately very difficult to find over here. After various Twitter pleas as to stocks of this stuff in the UK, I winded up on ebay – a site that I really haven’t used for ages, probably since my Ty Beanie Baby stage back when I was 8. However I found this seller, who had really good feedback and sold it for a pretty reasonable price. This 500ml bottle set me back around £16 with 1st class P&P and it arrived in 3 days, well packaged and fully-sealed – v.impressed! Unfortunately I picked up the last 500ml he had in stock, but there are some of the 100ml smaller bottles in stock, but keep an eye out as I’m sure he will re-stock soon. I’ll keep you updated with how I get on, but I used it take off the remains of last night’s makeup this morning and it performed well! I have heard this stuff is a lot cheaper in France so if you’re ever over there then it might be worth stocking up! I think I have just thought of the perfect excuse for a trip to Paris 🙂
I’m a sucker for a pyjama-style shirt and this one is in the sale – WIN!
