I hadn’t heard of Lolita Lempicka until late last year when my friend said that their original fragrance was top of her Christmas list, so of course next time I spotted it I gave it a sniff and sure enough, just as she said I was greeted by a beautifully sweet scent. Lolita Lempicka are renowned for their feminine fragrances, with a hit of sweetness without the heaviness – right up my street actually!
Their newest scent – L’Eau en Blanc, released just in time for the ever romantic wedding season, opens with top notes of violet leaf absolute and green iris, before white violet and raspberry are delicately paired to to create the heart of the fragrance. L’Eau en Blance is then finished off with the eternally sophisticated heliotrope and musk. There is certainly something very fresh and clean about this fragrance, almost baby powder with a hint of flower, not too overpowering but a unique lingering scent that would be great for the Summer. To fit in with the romantic theme, the apple-like bottle gives a playful edge and adds a touch of fun to my perfume collection!
