I Couldn’t Resist…

Sometimes there are just products I can’t resist. If one of my favourite Youtubers or Bloggers raves on about it enough, I just have to purchase it. Simple. The Youtuber for the case in point is Tanya Burr, aka Pixi2Woo – a beautiful girl with a beautiful taste in products. Every time she used the following 2 products her skin looked amazing – radiant and glowing! After admiring them on FeelUnique for months, and I mean months, on Monday I finally took the plunge, 3 days later (not bad delivery considering shipping from Feel Unique is free), they arrived….

Forgive me Foundation God for I have sinned. I am now the proud owner of 12 (or could it be 13) foundations and counting. As firstly we have the Jemma Kidd Make Up School Light As Air Foundation (link), whenever Tanya used this in her tutorials, her skin looks flawless yet natural and then when Mille Mackintosh from ‘Made in Chelsea’ acclaim mentioned it was one of her favourite foundations too I caved. One thing that can be said for this foundation is the shade range is pretty poor – I have a feeling here are only 7 shades to pick from, I went for 3 Light/Medium – it has quite a yellow tone to it which I actually really like as I’m all about counteracting my redness. I used it this morning for the first time and I think I can sum up it up so far in 5 words – runny, blendable, gives good coverage. BAM! My other Jemma Kidd pick was the Dewy Glow All Over Radiance Cream (link), another favourite of Tanya’s and long list of other bloggers. Available in 2 shades, one with a more pink/golden tone, and the one I got ‘Ice Gold’ which is a slightly paler more yellow offering. It looks gorgeous in the pan, too gorgeous in fact that I haven’t even used it yet! Pathetic I know, but I will update you with my thoughts, once I have given it go 🙂
