This might not seem like the most riveting of post subjects, but I’ve seen comments here and there asking how I edit my Instagram photos and seeing as I was scratching my head a bit clueless as to what to waffle on about today, I thought I’d go with this…
I love Instagram (here’s mine if you’ve yet to find me on there). The pretty pictures provide me with a constant source of inspiration in terms of makeup, style, food, interiors, fitness – the lot – everything is just so darn pretty. When it comes to my Instagram I have a few rules (of course, I’m a Virgo). I don’t bother with Instagram filters – though they’ve recently been improved and I’m told are now much better than the app that I use – I open up VSCO Cam, pop up my image in there, apply the F2 filter (it’s brill), up or lower the exposure if the picture is too dark or light, then use the sharpen tool to add a bit more definition to the image and save it to my library before uploading it into Instagram. It sounds long-winded, but it’s easy peasy and the fact that it’s always the same means I don’t take ages faffing around with a filter.
So there you have it for anyone who was intrigued. For those not so intrigued, no worries – normal beauty programming will resume back tomorrow…
