How Could I Forget About This? It’s Tan in a Tube…

IMG_9455

I’ve been slacking on the fake tanning front recently mainly because all I want to do in the evenings is lay in bed and watch Don’t Tell the Bride (poor Mark!), instead of slapping on the good stuff, getting chilly and making my white sheets a tad orange. It’s all well and good until I fancy wearing an outfit where my hairy, milk bottle-esque legs are on show. After a quick shave, I’ve been reaching for this old favourite again – Rimmel’s Sunshimmer Instant Tan BB Skin Perfector in Light Matte.

I can’t believe I forgot about this. Not only is it a complete bargain, duping the higher priced Vita Liberata Capture the Light for a fraction of the price, but it does that whole ‘limb makeup’ thing in that it provides glow, a warm hue and a bit of coverage to smooth over any bruises or bites you might have going on. Plus it washes off easily enough too. Word of warning though – stick to the Light Matte version, unless you want something that’s really intense colour-wise. Been there, done that, resembled an Oompa Loompa.
