I can’t say that I’m a huge perfume gal. I had a bit of a clear-out and though I still have a handful knocking around, in terms of ones that I use daily, I can narrow it down to just two – Stella McCartney Stella and Escentric Molecule Molecule 01. I like my fragrances to be light and fresh. I have been known to scrub scents off my wrist because they make me feel that nauseous, so subtlety is the name of the game here.
Enter the Kiehl’s Fig Leaf and Sage Fragrance Mist, which I first gave a go when I was away with Kiehl’s last week. I gave it a test spray on the wrist (easy to wash off if it made me feel like I wanted to vom), but it passed with flying colours and now when I spray it I’m reminded of a sunnier time, warm skin and the general whiff of St Tropez that accompanied me through my whole time at Coachella. In reality though it’s a blend of fig, sage, bergamot, citron and thyme; nice and fresh, with a green undertone and a slight muskiness that makes this a unisex scent. In fact there’s something about it that gives off a bit of an aftershave vibe, which I’m 100% down for. I’m keeping this well out of the way of Mark’s mitts…
P.S) This is a bit tough to track down, but currently FeelUnique, Debenhams and House of Fraser have a few bottles left! I panic purchased the large 100ml one from FeelUnique yesterday because I don’t want to ever be without it. LOVE IT.
