Posting ‘Face Of The Days’ is hard – I never really have a ‘look’ that I want to snap at 6am in the morning on the weekdays and then most weekends I’m makeup-free! But I found this photo hanging around from a family thing I went to last weekend and thought I would pop it up 🙂 It was a casual Sunday Roast meet-up so I didn’t want to go too crazy, so I just wore my usual everyday base, with a wash of colour over the lids from my new Clarins palette (which I posted about here), and a slightly brown toned lip….

This look was a bit different for me, definitely more browned toned than I usually go for – I’m more a ‘golden girl’ day to day 😉 Still absolutely loving the JK Light As Air – will I ever get fed up with this foundation? When it comes to eyeshadows I can never really be faffed to go for more than one colour over the lid everyday – I save the 2 shadow blendy thing for when I’m feeling something a little more fancy! So I just popped this shadow on and then blended it around the edges with a MAC 224, very easy. This Clarins palette does have some amazing shades in it, but the copper-toned brown that I’m wearing in this photo is by far my favourite. It’s very similar to MAC Antiqued in some ways although is a little more sheerer which makes it more user-friendly. While I was putting this makeup on, my Mum decided that she wanted to copy so wore the same shadow on her eyes! And she never wears eyeshadow so it must be good 😉
