It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. Edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away:
1. Stuff I’ve Used Up. It’s been an age since I’ve done an empties video and with my whole attempt at clearing out and using stuff up I’ve somehow managed to accumulate quite the drawer of what is essentially rubbish. Let me know the best way to tackle it – blog post or video? I’m all ears.
2. The Longest Wearing Nail Polish? I know I keep banging around about the Smith & Cult Nail Polishes but they truly are one of the best formulas I’ve found. Case in point: here is Bitter Buddhist on my nails after five days of wear. Now I’m tough on my nails – I do a lot of washing up and never wear rubber gloves to clean, so polishes usually only last a day or two completely chip-free – but look at that! I’m so darn impressed.
3. Time for a Winter Capsule Wardrobe. I’ve reached the week in my diary where it says that it’s time for me to have a capsule wardrobe re-jig. That means that I’ve successfully done three months without clothing shopping! *pats self on back* There’s not much that I really want to switch out but I feel like there are a few things that need tweaking. I’ll pop up an update video next week.
4. Dreamy Christmas Decorations. Every single year The White Company come out with the best range of Christmas decorations and this year they’ve done it again. SWOON. They are however ridiculously pricey so *leans in and whispers* I recommend waiting until the Boxing Day/January Sales to nab them at a bargain price all ready for next Christmas. Shhhh.
5. The Best of 2015. It’s that time of year where I collate the best of beauty from the last 12 months, which is one of my favourite video-related tasks. It’s so fun to look back on 11 (soon to be 12!) lots of monthly favourites and decipher which were the cream of the crop. I’m sure you’ll be able to fashion some kind of drinking game to play as you watch along.
