It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. Edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away:
1. My Vanity Set-Up. This is the one part of the flat that I just can’t work out what to have there. I need a vanity that I can sit at daily to apply all my makeups and something that stores my daily grabs. What do you guys use? Any pieces of furniture you’d suggest?
2. A Desk Tour? You up for it? My desk space certainly isn’t finished and is lacking a bit in the wall decoration department (mainly because I can’t quite make up my mind as to what to have there), but the actual desk and the bits and bobs that surround my computer are all set in place and good to go and show. Let me know if you’d like to have a nose around.
3. My Mock Croc Boots. You remember my Autumn Style Wishlist Post? Well I ended up getting those ALDO Innocentina Mock Croc Boots and I bloomin’ love them. I understand they’re a Marmite product – Mark laughed so hard that he cried when he first saw them – but they’re surprisingly comfortable and just add a bit of somethin’ somethin’ to my pretty plain outfits.
4. The Foundation Cull. After helping Lily move out a few weekends ago and watching her purge a load of her beauty bits I was inspired to streamline my stash even more. Foundations are my weakness, but once I actually started to think of how long some of the bottles had been knocking around, I knew it was time to have a bit of a clear-out. Over the coming weeks I’ll show you what made the cut.
5. Facial Massage ROCKS. I must admit that I’m one to slap my cleanser on, spend about 10 seconds rubbing it in and quickly rinse it off; but a particularly puffy-looking face day led me to google facial massage and I must say that I’m converted. I’ll do a post on my favourite techniques and videos I’ve used soon, but I just find that the next morning my skin is seriously glowing and my eyes especially look less ‘I’ve been up late binge watching a season of my favourite TV show’-y.
