Haute Dogs, Autumn Drops & A Kitchen Tour?

Five Things

It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. Edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away:

1. The MAC Collection Inspired By Dogs. I don’t know why, but this really makes me chuckle. A MAC collection inspired by dogs?! Bizarre, but it kind of works and Haute Dogs sees the release of some really pretty shades. With shade names like Barking Gorgeous, Lap Dog and Labradorable, it’s kind of adorable, so I think I’ll be heading to store for a swatch when it’s released.

2. A Kitchen Tour? Just a note to say thank you for all the kind words in regards to the few snippets of the flat that we have shown. It’s taken a lot of time and love and your sweet comments make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Seeing as there’s still a tonne of stuff to do I’m thinking that a post of a mini kitchen tour is about all I can rustle up interiors-wise right now if you’re interested? Holler.

3. Eyeliners Galore. Right now eyeliners seem to be having a moment and literally every new launch or autumn themed release is chocker with them. I guess with the summer almost (but not yet!) over, it’s time to ditch the beach babe makeup thing and crack out the kohls again. I’ll do a round-up post soon, but on first impressions the new colours of the Burberry Effortless Kohl Liner are the front runners.

4. Feeling Dotty. We all know by now that I’m not the most colourful person when it comes to wardrobe choices, nor am I the biggest fan of patterns in clothing, however there was something about this top from Whistles that spoke to me. You can’t tell from the picture but it’s pretty long in length and with two slits up the side to waist-height it’s the perfect top to tuck into things and I love a good top tucker.

5. CHANEL’s Autumn Drop. It’s seriously beautiful, as always. There are new limited edition additions to the eyeshadow, liner, blush and lip ranges, but I think my favourites have to be the Les 5 Ombres de CHANEL Eyeshadow Palette in Entrelacs because their L.E palettes are always just so darn covetable and wearable and the nail colours are pretty too – I’d happily wear them all. All dark and deep and rich in colour. Expect to see it all hit the blog veeerrryyy soon.
