It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. Edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away:
1) A Naked Palette That I’m Actually Not That Interested In. The unheard of has happened. Urban Decay are due to release an eyeshadow palette in the upcoming months and on first glance I don’t think I’m too interested in it. Now it’s unfair just to judge from photos, but the Naked Smoky Palette seems geared towards those that tend to go a bit deeper with the tone of their eyeshadow. Still, I may have to complete the collection…
2) My Caramel Milkshake Recipe. The other day I was messing around with dates and almond milk and a few other bits and bobs as you do and I created a dairy-free, refined sugar-free milkshake that really was rather tasty. A great one to whip up if you want something sweet and are two mins away to grabbing your coat to head to the shops. I’ll pop up a recipe at some point next week if you’re interested?
3) A Pop of Blue? It’s quite unlike me, but I’ve really been enjoying the new YSL Shocking Eyeliner Effet Faux Cils in 2, which is a bright turquoise blue. As with all things bold, I like it worn basically on its own with a touch of base, mascara and balm. Just pop a bit of primer underneath it or things can get a bit smudgey.
4) Josie Maran’s Pot of Silk For Your Skin. The Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Ultra-Hydrating Body Butter is really all kinds of awesome. It’s not sickly smelling, but instead very fresh in scent and it sinks into my limbs quickly without any greasy residue. A great summer spot that means I’m not rocking the snakeskin-like legs.
5) So Chuffed With My Lace Skirt. You may have seen me rave on about this Warehouse Lace Trim Skirt in my Summer Wardrobe Additions video, but if you missed my love-in with this thing, then I’ll just drop a line here to tell you that it’s a beaut of a skirt. So unbelievably comfy for something that looks so structured and the nude colour goes with everything.
