It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. Edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away:
1) Chocolatey Eyes. So there’s a new eyeshadow palette in town (isn’t there always?!), but let me tell you that this one is worth checking out/dreaming about. It’s the Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette and it’s compact, dark and handsome. There’s a mix of mattes and shimmer and a choice of browns, reds and bronzes. The best bit? It’s a bargain at £15. I’ll pop up a post next week.
2) OMG Charlotte Tilbury’s Mask is AWESOME. I’ve had SO MANY TWEETS asking if I’d tried the Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask, so off I trotted to Selfridges, picked it up, rushed home because I was so excited to try it and you know what? It’s bloomin’ fab. It’s one of only a few clay masks that don’t make me feel like my skin is thirsty once I remove it and things felt baby soft afterwards. So far, so good with this one – the use of capital letter is definitely needed.
3) MUFE Launches into Debenhams. Another one that you lovely lot have been giving me a Twitter nudge about, because Make Up For Ever has finally launched in the UK exclusively to Debenhams. Say what?! I headed to their Oxford Street store a few weeks ago to have a nosey around the new counter and it was buzzing. I may have picked up a few things… #Oops
4) A Tan That You Shower Off? I’ve been hearing so much about this stuff, St Tropez’s Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion. A cream that you slather on mid-shower, leave on for three minutes then rinse off. For someone who finds applying the stuff a real chore (don’t we all?), this sounds like my dream. I finally managed to get my hands on it this week after dragging Mark around multiple shops. I think it’s currently exclusive to Boots, though it’s on offer with a 1/3rd off – whoop! I’ll report back with my findings ASAP.
5) Olivia Palermo Does Nail Polishes…and they’re a seriously pretty trio of colours. Olivia Palermo has designed a mini range for Ciaté and she has got it spot on. There’s a pink, peach and a red and I really do like them all. Add a lavendery beige in there and I’d be set for life. Oh and a mint too…
