Floral Trousers & Falling In Love With Snapchat

Five Things

It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. Edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away:

1) No Fuss Makeup. I’ve always been a fan of five minute makeup, but right now more than ever I find myself grabbing products that I can smoosh on my face in a speedy manor and be out the door in record time. I’ve got to say that the Lancome Renergie Eclat Multi-Lift which acts as a moisturiser/tint/glow-giver is a great choice for an easy everyday base. Slimly packed and with a handy pump, I’ve been smoothing it on as the last step in my skincare routine every morning.

2) Welcome to Clear Out Central. I’m on a downsizing, clearing-out, editing down mission and it’s what I find myself doing most evenings till well past my bedtime – rock and roll! Though I managed to shift a load of makeup and foundations especially which were well past their best before, my nail polish has seen the biggest change. I’ll share the deets next weekend as there’s a bit of a tale to tell with that one.

3) I FINALLY Got the BeautyBlender. A few weeks back I finally picked up a BeautyBlender and do you know what? It’s bloomin’ amazing. I can completely see what the fuss is about. It’s not just a foam egg! I don’t think it’s something that I’d like for applying foundation exclusively everyday, but it has its uses. I’ll report back on Monday will my full findings.

4) Hello Snapchat! So Lily finally twisted my arm to near breaking point and I got Snapchat and I actually quite like it. In lieu of vlogging it’s a nice way to share what’s going in a ridiculously quick and unedited way. My username is ‘viviannamakeup’ if you’d like to see what I get up to when I’m not tapping away at my laptop (hint: it usually includes food and lip synching to ’90’s music).

5) I Bought Some Trousers That Aren’t Black. I know – shock horror! I’d been eyeing up this pair from Reiss for yonks and after weighing up what outfit options I could roll out with them and how often I would actually wear them I decided that it was time for a change and time to take the plunge. I’ve barely removed them since purchase and along with a few other items they’re making up the base for a semi-summer wardrobe that includes colour for once. Expect to see the rest of my hot weather clothing picks in a video next week.
