It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty, fashion and everything in between from the past seven days. Edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away:
1. ASOS White Label. How have I never spotted this section on the ASOS website before? I’m obviously just too busy stalking the Whistles page, but seriously the ‘White’ section is seriously where it’s at. It’s sort of like their premium offering and reminds me a lot of Topshop Unique; my current wishlist basically consists of every single piece.
2. The Hair Dilemma. Good news! I can get my hair into a semi-high pineapple without the need for 86 bobby pins and now just the two but here’s the thing – my strands are starting to look like they need a cut again. With mid-length hair there’s a very short tipping point when it goes from shoulder skimming and easy to style to rests on your clavicle and becomes a real pain in the arse to make look nice. I think it’s time to go back to Hershesons…
3. Lipstick Queen Bete Noir Lipstick in Possessed Intense. I’m being a tease again this week, because unfortunately this lipstick doesn’t come out until January – though it’s not too long to wait which is a good thing because this colour is vampy with a capital ‘V’. An extremely dark purple, I think it’s the closest to black I can ever go on the lips and with the help of a slightly glossy finish I look forward to rocking this with a parred back beauty look.
4. MAC’s Red, Red, Red Collection. Though I’m not the biggest buyer of MAC these days, like I was in my Uni years, I still like to keep myself in the loop with what’s new and this collection that’s heading to the UK come February next year has caught my attention. Four red lipsticks, two of which are limited edition? I’m in.
5. The Start of Christmas. Today is the day that I head home to spend Christmas with family and friends and I’m beyond excited about it. Apologies in advance if things get a little quiet on social media until the New Year as I’ll be taking a little tech break but they’re will still be posts everyday and videos as per usual.
