It’s time to bundle together the best of beauty from the past seven days. Edited down to five of the top products, videos, posts, releases and the rest that have had me clicking away:
1) Red Eyes. Whenever autumn rolls about around I come back to this post from Into The Gloss for inspiration. It’s everything that’s right about autumn makeup; the red-toned eyes, windslapped cheeks, nude lips, hair that’s adapted to the elements in a good way. Somebody pass me the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream…
2) BB Cream for Nails. Attention-grabbing name aside, I love the Orly BB Cream. A one-stop shop for nail nourishing, strengthening and protection it really has helped my nails get back into shape after copious amounts of gel polish.
3) MAC’s New Shadow Formula. I don’t think I’ve ever felt a texture of shadow like the newly released Electric Cool Eyeshadows. Almost like putty, it’s a bit bizarre, but the shades glide onto lids in a much lighter way than your usual cream formulas do. I’ve given Superwatt a go, but I think the coppery-red Coil will be next on my shopping list.
4) LFW Fever. Fashion week came to down last weekend and as the tents get packed away I’m wondering what was your favourite show of the SS15 season? Personally I loved a bit of Burberry and Topshop Unique as always. Both were seriously on point.
5) Perricone MD No Bronzer, Bronzer. I mentioned this earlier in the week, but I can really see myself getting into the whole liquid bronzer thing. This formula in particular blends in so well I really do believe it’s near impossible to end up at the wrong side of the Oompa Loompa spectrum. Makeup-wise, it’s my final nod to the summer.
