There’s a colour cycle that I follow with nail polish. Pastels in the spring, orangey reds in the summer, neutrals in the autumn and the glitters come into play for Christmas – oh how predictable. Well there’s a new shade in town that’s bucking my seasonal rota and causing things to get a little shimmery on my tips mid-heat wave – Butter LONDON’s Bit Faker*. A polish that may induce feelings of true love upon first glance, I dub it ‘bottled glittery sand’. Flecks of gold, bronze and black lacquer on together to create a beach appropriate mani that’s just asking to be sported with a tan and taken to Ibiza. Unfortunately I’ve just been showcasing mine in the UK with pasty limbs and gigantic sweat patches, but I can confirm Bit Faker definitely gives off that ‘new shoes’ effect that may lead you to missing your tube stop through contented inspections of your nails.
£12 from Look Fantastic or at Boots and Selfridges in-store. Lets just not mention how long this took to remove, yeah?
