Back At It Again With The Vlogging

IMG_2224

Even though I took a one week YouTube hiatus, I didn’t want my camera to start gathering dust so instead I whipped it out and got vlogging. Now vlogging is a weird one these days because I’m hugely in love with Snapchat. Ah man Snapchat! I love how quick and easy it is to share clips and how it sort of edits itself into mini vlogs – GENIUS. If you ever want to see a quickie version of daily vlogs from yours truly, with plenty of dog-filter action then that’s where to head (‘viviannamakeup‘ FYI). So in a way vlogging without a 10 second cap was kind of dreamy.

This vlog in particular is pretty London heavy as I had a fair amount of events and meetings in my diary last week. The most exciting of which was definitely the Vogue Festival celebrations where I was lucky enough to nab a seat for the Charlotte Tilbury and Kim Kardashian West talk that was actually really bloomin’ cool. Kim is quite the comedienne – who knew? She shared how she’s entering more of a ‘no makeup, makeup’ phase with her beauty routine, is a fan of strobing and non-touring and dabbles in the beauty blogger world from time to time. I always thought I was more of a Kourtney or Khloe kinda gal, but I’ve got to say that Kim was very warm and very funny and I spent the hour-long talk grinning from ear to ear.

Kim-gushing aside, there’s also a mini workout thrown in there, a few recipes, a bit of purple dressing gown action – you know, the usual.
