I’ve been riding the fitness train since the beginning of the year and despite a couple of days off here and there due to travel/sickness/general CBA-ness, I’ve pretty much stayed on for the whole ride. No, I haven’t got abs or buns of steel and probably never will have thanks to my love for all things sweet, but I am stronger than ever and feel all the better for it.
I tend to post a lot of workout-related stuff on Snapchat (‘viviannamakeup‘ on there FYI), as it’s just so darn easy to film with your phone in the gym, plus Paul my PT is a Snapchat PRO. I’m always being asked about fitness things on there, so I thought I’d cram all of the FAQ’s into one video. Linked above is exactly that; featuring a look at my current routine along with some answers to my most-asked questions. It covers a bit of everything from what move I dread at the gym, to toning titbits and motivation to my favourite workout gear.
Speaking of which here’s a quickie overview of what I’m wearing in this mini shoot above. I’ve mentioned before how I’m completely enamoured with the Outdoor Voices website (check it out and try to click away without purchasing something – I dare you!) and I’m now the proud owner of some O.V kit. I have the Outdoor Voices Springs Leggings which fit and wash well and add a bit of somethin’ somethin’ with their colour block print (it’s worth noting that these are loooong so perfect for all you leggy lasses out there). I like to wear them with their matching Outdoor Voices Two Tone Athena Crop and this Lorna Jane Boyfriend Tank, I’m in love with this top and cut at the moment and wish that it came in more colours. I pop on my gym shoes, the Nike TR5 Flyknit Trainers (similar) and I’m good to go, or at least jump around on benches whilst being counted in by the lovely Lauren.
