A Tour of My Z-Palette

As I sit down to write this post, I realise that it’s probably a topic that’s more suited to a video. DOH! Perhaps today is just a whistle-stop tour and you can just give me a nudge if you’d like to see it in video format? But onto the subject – my new Z-Palette. With the recent addition of some Makeup Geek Eyeshadows to my collection (more on those here and update: my latest, smaller order was slapped with a customs charge too – boo!), I needed somewhere to home them so took up the option that many do of investing in a stuff-’em-all-in magnetic palette. I picked up the larger compact and along with the rest of my MAC shadows and a few de-potted Urban Decay ones, I’m almost up to the full capacity of 27, with just one spot left to fill. Does one need 27 eyeshadows that all look subtle variations of brown and burgundy? Most definitely not. But ‘wanting’ is a whole different story and they sure are fun to play with…

TOP ROW: MAC All That Glitters, Makeup Geek Homecoming, Makeup Geek Peach Smoothie, Makeup Geek Purely Naked, Urban Decay Riff, Makeup Geek Flame Thrower, MAC Antiqued

SECOND ROW: MAC Omega, MAC Era, Makeup Geek Creme Brûlée, MAC Swiss Chocolate, MAC Coppering, MAC Cranberry, MAC Star Violet

THIRD ROW: MAC Woodwinked, MAC Soba, MAC Texture, Makeup Geek Taupe Notch, Makeup Geek Cocoa Bear, Makeup Geek Burlesque, Makeup Geek Bitten

BOTTOM ROW: MAC Espresso, Urban Decay Beware, MAC Sable, MAC Club, MAC Smut

So I guess the big question is – what would you fill that final slot with? I’m ready with my pen and paper…
