A Forgotten Step That I Always Forget to Pack

IMG_7638

Now I’m feeling quite smug about this one, because although I always used to forget to pack this one product, this time round I remembered it. You know when you’re lobbing everything in your bag, getting ready for a trip, there’s always one thing that you forget. Always. You just pray that it isn’t underwear/a change of clothes/ deodorant. Well perhaps I’m being a tad dramatic, because although my most forgotten item doesn’t end in me having to nip down to the local M&S to stock up on pants, it does make a huge difference to the outcome of my makeup and it just doesn’t get enough credit…

It’s the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. Something that when I first purchased I didn’t really ‘get‘, but as it’s sat in my drawer every morning I’ve become quite fond of this little nub of blending goodness to give that final pat-out to my base to make sure it’s pressed-in to a degree when you can’t really tell it’s there. I’ve tried it for application but it’s not really my thing – I prefer a brush for that – but for that final step to make sure your base is as blended as it can be, it rocks. And I promise its days of being left behind are over. Come and nestle in with the rest of my daily beauty bits, eh?
