Now I do love to find a chocolate selection box in my stocking each year (FYI, the Fudge Bars are always the first to go), but you know what’s even better than that? An Essie selection box. And this year the nail polish Queen has made our lacquer dreams come true with a limited edition box brimming with seasonal appropriate colours and a nail wrap tester in a cute box that is impossible to lob into the recycling. It’s name? The Festive Fingertips Box – ahhh I see what they did there.
Inside houses four full-size shades: Sole Mate – a deep berry which you must know by now that I adore, Fishnet Stockings – a dark red that could well be my Christmas Day polish this year (yes this is the type deep thought my brain ponders regularly), Eternal Optimist – a dusky pink that’s like the wintery little sister of Fiji and Beyond Cozy – a glitter packed bottle of gold and silver flecks. I’ll leave you to guess my favourite of the bunch, but here’s a hint; it starts with an ‘S’ and ends in ‘Oul Mate’. There’s also a set of Slick Stick Calligraphy Nail Wraps, but after many a bubbly, uneven failed applications of various guises of these I think I’ll be giving those a miss and sticking to the pretty polishes.
The best bit? This box has a combined price of £42, but can make its way home with you for just £24.99. Score.
