The Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask – it’s no surprise is it that this has cropped up in a post of its own, is it? I have been using this mask for about month now and I think it’s fair to say that this will be a staple in my skincare routine from this day forward. There seems to be quite a buzz about this product at the moment, I’d seen both Lily and Caroline raving about it, and from my experience with it so far I’ll be joining that gang too.
I’d never used a mask like this before. It’s a clear cream with a slightly gel-like consistency that you apply a thick layer of as the last step in your skincare routine before you go to bed and in the morning your skin has quite literally ‘drunk it up’! In basic terms it’s a intense moisture replacement mask that quenches moisture reserves and contains a host of anti-dehydration ingredients. As with all Origins products it’s packed with plenty of killer and no filler.
It’s designed for dry and dehydated skintypes. Now my skin certainly isn’t dry, however my normal/oily complexion isn’t as greasy as it once was and I’ve noticed a few flaky bits appearing around my eyebrow and forehead area so thought that the Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask would come in handy for treating that. I use this around twice a week in the evenings and I have to say I couldn’t be more impressed. I use about a pea-size amount and when I wake up in the morning my skin is practically glowing. In fact I account that face that I have been going lighter on the foundation these days heavily down to this. My skin feels and looks jucier, the dry patches are gone and I’m one happy bunny. Not only are the results amazing but it smells great too, refreshing and fruity. Even just writing about it makes me want to use it now!
So tonight I will be happily slathering this all over my face! Another great thing is that a 100ml tube of this costs £20 which is good value for such a high-quality and effective skincare product, plus it will last you a while. Have any of you guys tried it?
